What's new: July 2001: We now have our messages and bible studies on line for downloading in MP3 format. Visit our Synopsis of Services page to experience it first hand. Also, the 2001 Christian Renewal Conference is on July 28th and 29th! Check our Schedule for the CRC info. June 2001: HAPPY PENTECOST! Check our Schedule for the upcoming Holy Day. May 2001: The Family Services Shelter (for battered women) is holding a fund-raiser on the evening of the 18th. Contact Trisha Svehla if you're interested in attending. April 2001: HAPPY SPRING HOLYDAYS! Check our Schedule for the upcoming Holy Days. March 2001: The Servant's News advertises the church service - "WWW.WhereCOG.org". January 2001: We're cancelling services January 20th to go to hear Steven Collins speak up in Wisconsin. August 2000: Mini-Christian Renewal conference on August 26th. July 2000: We're combining with the Chicago CGI to hear C. Wayne Cole speak. April 2000: Check our Schedule for the upcoming Holy Days. March 2000: We've redesigned our websites and have added a library section. We're also going to hear David Havir speak up in Wisconsin on March 25th. January/February 2000: We are going to combine for services with the Chicagoland Church of God International on the 22nd at our Oakbrook facility. On Feb 12th, we will go to their Lincolnwood facility to hear BIll Watson speak. All are welcome! December 1999: Hopefully some of you had the opportunity to go to Bloomington, IL to hear David Havir speak. If not, rumor has it he will be in the Milwaukee area in March. The rest of the month will be spent visiting other groups due to holiday conflicts with our facility. November1999: HAPPY THANKSGIVING! September/October 1999: Hopefully some of you had the opportunity to go to a Feast site that had multiple congregations meeting there and hopefully some of you took the opportunity to visit some of those other groups. Speaking from experience in regards to the Destin, Fl. site, we found that all of the groups we met with were very welcoming and the messages were inspiring. Some of the groups we met with were the Church of God, Big Sandy; CEM; COGOM; and the Friends of the Sabbath. In July of 1999, we started a new service to our church of God brethren to help them find a church to attend if they are moving or traveling. To learn more about it click on this link and you'll be taken there directly. Please help us add more information to this service and keep it updated. The majority of us will be visiting our sister church, the United Church of God, Bloomington in Bloomington, Illinois to hear David Havir speak. You are welcome to join us if you so desire, or you can attend with our sister church in Hyde Park of Chicago, The Active Bible Church of God (ABCOG). You can click on this link to check our schedule for services and upcoming speakers. As a part of our community outreach, we've been placing booklet ads in the local newspaper. We're including in this section links to articles written by our local members so that you can get an idea of some of the subjects that interest us or some of the discussions that take place. It is not our intent to appear discriminatory towards other writers, but we believe that there are so many other services on the internet for this purpose that we do not wish to compete against them. One such service is provided by Barnabas Ministries at www.biblestudy.org.
